Stevens Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of an on-site health and wellness clinic at their Teutopolis facility. The Stevens Industries Health Clinic, SHC, will be available to the more than 425 employee-owners of Stevens Industries and their dependents 18 years and older. Medical care and diagnostics will be provided at a fraction of the cost of traditional office visits. The clinic will be open two days per week, Mondays from 1 to 5pm and Thursdays from 7 to 11am, and will be staffed by a certified nurse practitioner.

"Our talented team of associates is our most important and valued resource," said company president Todd Wegman. "Commitment to the health and well-being of our team members and their families is a high priority. This milestone is a prime example of our dedication to that priority. We strive for excellence in our business – for our associates and our customers."

Stevens Industries, Inc. contracted with HSHS Medical Group to provide this added benefit. "The on-site clinic model is an innovative concept that allow us to put high-quality health care inside a business. With a nurse practitioner on-site, sick and injured employees can seek treatment at work instead of taking time off and scheduling a doctor’s appointment – or worse – ignoring their symptoms," said Loren Hughes, MD, president of HSHS Medical Group.

The SHC administered by the HSHS Medical Group will use the same electronic health records as traditional clinics, which means treatment provided on-site is recorded in the patient's record and available to the patient’s primary care provider.

Stevens Industries, Inc. is a self-insured, Employee-Owned company. They endeavor to provide outstanding benefits for associates and their families. The company boasts more than 58 years of experience in the commercial casework and millwork field.
